Very nice view of the temples, friendly staff. But sadly a reacuring thing is overpriced food and drinks at these tourist spots! Often double or tripple the price, even outmatching the most exclusive shopping malls.

Looks from the outside of this hotel get you thinking OMG what have I got into here but after the initial shock and you get into your room, you discover it's not so bad. We spent three nights here and that's about the limit for a stay as rooms, although very modern and comfortable lack any kind of storage space so it kind of gets you living out of your suitcase, it really is a boutique style hotel. Breakfast was included in our package and this was well above average, fantastic breakfast by the riverside and more food than you could ever eat. On the downside, prices for drinks and dinner were well above average, the days of everything in Bangkok being cheap are truly well gone. Don't stay here if you can't do stairs, there is no elevator so you will be required to climb up. For the most part staff are helpful and friendly although struggle with English which was a little odd in a tourist hotel and area.

The room and view is stunning, all staffs are well trained, food is tasty. The restaurant is spectacular and great service. The bed and pillows were great, we have had a great sleep. The only suggestion for me is the shower room should be more covered as I stayed with my kids, the water is not strong enough if I compare to the neighbor hotel which I stayed in the following night, also no elevator as I stayed at the 4th floor.

Highly recommend this industrial chic boutique hotel. Go for a Wat Arun room. The Wat Po rooms basically look down an alley or at neighbouring buildings. Rooms was spacious with adequate shower. Room comes with bluetooth speaker, Nespresso mini. Decent minibar (although why would you with the obligatory 7/11 close by). Sadly no balcony, however rooftop bar makes up for it. Its a walkup so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues. Food is excellent - both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend eating dinner at the hotel (reservation recommended). Hotel has a popular rooftop bar with 360 views of the area, decent cocktails and bar menu. Have stayed in this area before and wow has it improved! The area is definitely going down the gentrification route and lots of bars, coffeeshops, juice bars etc. A huge improvement has been the opening of the Sanam Chai MRT station - access via public transport is now super easy.

Pros: - Booked direct on the hotel website. Best price guaranteed. Booker friendly - Location - Rooftop with the view - 10K a night including breakfast, with the view of Wat Arun by the river. Total bill spent for one night (15k) - Breakfast - Services provided in the breakfast room - Rooftop, and its service - Helpful Staff at night named Khun Nat Cons: - Unfriendly check-in - I have sent the request to assist in helping me book a table in the restaurant. No reply I asked again in regards to the booking of a - table in the restaurant. A lady at the desk said she would follow up and confirmed back. It did not happen until I needed to call double-check again by myself - Arrived the reception and asked the same lady about the booking of the table, which she confirmed earlier. She said Go and ask the restaurant yourself. I asked again whether or not it was confirmed on the second floor. The answer was to go and ask the restaurant yourself. It's so shocking! - Dishes ordered in the restaurant compared to the prize were okay - Condition of the room was outdated. Poor maintenance - TV with limited channels and bad signal - Poor bathroom amenities selections - Poor water pressure with the rain shower - Mosquitoes in the room
